    SE actually did plan to include a trapper/breeder class in the original version of FFXIV (1.0), called 'Shepherd' (or 'SHP' for short), and it even had a guildhall in Falcon's Nest in 1.0 and class icon resembling a set of antlers... alas it was never implemented, and considering even Falcon's Nest no longer has that guildhall, I am liable to regard this concept sadly as something SE has quietly abandoned.

    Wow I never had a clue about all those unimplemented classes back from 1.X. Shepherd sounds like exactly what I'm talking about too. Maybe they can revamp it and bring it back at some point. I know a new DoL would be exciting.
