The biggest incentive to join this groups is to avoid the myriad of terrible EX groups in PF that claim to be "clear" groups that repeatedly wipe the raid with the same mechanic over and over ie. People not moving with lightning markers on Sus ex, if and only if you still need your 320 weapon/accessories, outside of that I wouldn't touch these PF groups with a 50 foot pole. Just my experience with it.

It's just like vote abandon or kicking a player from a duty. People don't read, and agree to everything that just pops up on their screen, so some do not even notice that they are joining a loot master party, hence the drama during or after the runs. Others don't mind joining these kind of parties, if they are just looking for light farming (old relics), or tomes, WT etc. At least you can make plenty of players upset, following this kind of strategic, sometimes that's the most entertaining part of the whole game. I personally think, that if a player can't be bothered, wasting 2 seconds of their time and reading the PF description, they deserve being in a party that gives only the leader a mount, or is up to the mercy/courtesy of the party leader. But after all there's no specific logic to that lol

Agreed, especially since now the entire description is wrote right under. I could (half) understand when it was cut at the right but now it's being stupid lol

I'm VERY sure most of the recent lootmaster mount farms for the current Stormblood extreme primals are people who probably got a benefit from previously nerfed drop rates like Ravana, Bismarck, Thordan, etc (2 years), or even Ponies (3+ years) where they drop like candy.

Pretty much they have no clue what it's like to farm a primal with no nerfed drop rates, and stay up in XPF wondering why everyone joins farm parties instead.

Lootmaster parties are for selfish bullshits.

    Don't join them
    Don't create one

The chances of a party disband after the first one or 2 mount drops is almost 100%. Never saw a farm party droping more tham 1 mount before disband.

Other day a RDM got mount and said 2 runs after "I'm distracted, just holding your guys back." and left.

So...there is no way a eighty player in pf will get a mount. 0% chance.

    EDIT:

Still about Pfs, I don't understand when people put extreme primals CLEAR parties at minimum ilv 310 lul

That's like "I wanna be carried all the way" kinda party

But this doenst matter in a lootmaster group.

With that system people are good to leave after getting their drop.

Tbf this system gets better with higher drop rate and contents with higher fluctuation of players than with low rate drops.

You are assuming the party keeps going after people leave, that's not the case. I've never seen a LM going 24/7 as you suggest.

As it is right now LM is a scam and nothing but a scam.

Huh, it's interesting to me that people are so adverse to this. I've joined several of these types of parties and had great experiences. Usually the party leader sticks around for at least an hour or two (even after getting it), and then passes the lead off to the next person if they have to go and the party is continuing on. As long as people are clear, polite, and outline the order/structure clearly I don't see the problem.

Honestly, I prefer lootmaster/join order PFs because I've joined greed-off loot drop parties before and been at it for 4+ hours with all kinds of new people joining who haven't been there the whole time who then get mounts- leaving me empty handed after hours of grinding. I mean, don't get me wrong I'm sure there are jerks out there who use lootmaster as a scam, but I haven't encountered them yet. All around, I prefer knowing when I'm up next to get a mount.

Ok so I am not the only one who finds this stupid and I am guessing most of the time its probably 3-4 people that are in the same LS/FC together and are creating these parties to insure they can get a mount and then disband the party.

This was never a thing on Balmung before cross party finder so not sure if it came from another server or if people are deciding to use this scummy tactic because your not dealing with people on your server only.
