    Unable to log into any character on any data center after transfer request

    I put in a character transfer request for an alt on Balmung to move it to Omega at around 12pm CST today and it is now 6:50pm CST and I still cannot log into any character on any data center.

    I received an e-mail receipt for the free transfer, but nothing else so far.

    Attempting to play gives me error 3084 stating "Your character data is currently being transferred to another World. This may take several minutes. Please wait and try logging in again later."

    When checking my account on Mog Station, nearly half of my characters are missing from my character list, including the one transferred, on various servers. The missing characters and servers are entirely unrelated to the one being transferred and aren't even on the same data center.

    When searching lodestone, my characters still appear, and the transferred character is still showing on the original server.

    This is absolutely ridiculous that it has taken 7 hours, still ongoing, for this transfer to end or at least let me play the game again at all.

    I submitted an e-mail to customer support but haven't even gotten a confirmation e-mail reply back.

    At this rate I am going on nearly half a day of lost play time with no warning whatsoever and no indication that a character transfer would lock me out of playing any of my characters entirely.

    Once you begin the World transfer process, you cannot create new characters or log into the game until the transfer is complete. Characters will be transferred in the order applications were submitted. A notification will be sent to the e-mail address registered to your Square Enix account when the transfer is complete.

    * Additional time may be required for transfers to be processed depending on the number of players using this service at the time of your request.

    So they have this information buried on a Play Guide page on the Lodestone instead of in bold red letters on the actual transfer application page. I went back and read over the transfer terms on the Mog Station twice and that particular section of information is conspicuously absent, and there is no link to the Play Guide page from the actual transfer application.

    Guessing they just couldn't be arsed to change information on both pages.
