    GLAMOUR CHANGE NEEDED! - URGENT!

    Dear Square Enix development team,

I would like to please ask you to make glamour appearances unique to each job class regardless of wearing the same armor set, for us who are passionate about having a different glam for each job. It is very stressful to have to change the glam for every single piece of gear when switching job classes within the same armor set. For instance If I'm an RP player i personally would very much like to look different based on my job, I understand that 2 different classes can look the same, but that should be a choice, not an obligation due to lack of glam mechanics. (yes i said glam mechanics)

I understand you'd like to keep the glamour prism economy alive and boasting but it will be for people who want to change their glam for each class, which in short will make the economy even bigger because people won't be too lazy to do it like they currently are due to the amount of effort and bag space it can take to always have all the available glam pieces at your disposal. Having a bunch of glams at your disposal I understand is a choice if I want to take up my bag space on that, and i know the game doesn't revolve around people that are really into glams, but at least it'll save the bag space for the 2 extra job classes. ( since most armor sets share 3 classes like the tank and healer ones ).

I also understand that with a change like this to the glamming part of the game also comes the challenge of whether or not the materia slots change as well. Square Enix, I am not asking you to help me save money by also assigning materia slots to each job class as well, I'm just asking you to make the appearances unique for each one, you can leave the materia and the way it works the way it is. So please don't come back at me with " we can't do that because then we'll have to redesign/reprogram too much"

I would like to end my argument with high hopes that square enix will be sympathetic towards us glam moguls, and provide a good experience to players who enjoy the aesthetics of the game as I'm sure square enix works hard to maintain an impressive look and feel to the game, the experience should match that just as much. So please cater to us glammers and help us feel more attended to by giving us a unique experience with each class without the struggle and frustration to reglam every time we want to change looks with the same armor piece. You guys did great allowing us to utilize armor sets for multiple jobs, and I'm grateful that I'm able to switch classes within the same tier, and be the same item level without having to regrind a completely different armor set but to some of us looks can mean everything.

Please make glamours unique to each job class,so we can be able to look forward to having a more enjoyable wardrobe experience.

Doesn't have to be different glamour for classes per se, but I would like something like being able to assign a glamour to a gear set, change the glamour on the same items and save it as another set. Dunno how the game saves the specs of an item, maybe it would be too complicated to do it.

Off topic: you can bypass the character limit by editing your post.

Yeah having a glamour option saved too it's unique gear set would totally solve the problem. that's basically what i was trying to explain i just didn't use the word gear set, I appreciate you bringing that into light.

This is a idea I can get behind. As a caster main, I totally get this, finding stuff that matches black mage and summoner (soon to be RDM as well) is a total nightmare, especially when the classic job gear looks want to be used, or incorporated. I love the gameplay just as much as I like looking good. That makes this post stick out to me. Plus I'm sure that healers and tanks come across the same problems. It's by no means a crippling drawback, but it would be a major improvement, especially for those who role play or those who retain multiple jobs. I ship it.

    +1 to this.
It's annoying when you get a set to look like you want for a job and then remember you have to make it match with the other jobs that share the same gear.

I agree but actually think it needs to change by class. My biggest frustration is all of the really awesome crafting sets at level 50. I can't use any of them on my level 60s unless I have 9 different sets of Iron Works gear, one set per crafter. I'd love to have my level 60 culinarian look like a cook and my GSM like a gem crafter. I've saved all of the sets in hopes that this will change... I have the same issue with my three healers and three tanks. I'd love for my DRK to look different than my WAR. Not possible unless I purchase the gear for each. I would LOVE to have the ability to change my glam per class.

And while you're at it, think about letting attach a few different hairstyles to glamour sets. Just a thought.

I totally agree as well. I hate to use the argument that other games have been/can do this but it's been done before! +1 to this. Please SE ! Make it happen if you can!
