I was given tips while leveling to 60, and worked on what I was given and was reading up on the correct rotations to use and applying them. Those were always given in a constructive and helpful way.
Those roations seem to have gone out the window with SB so I'm having to relearn as I've been leveling and trying to find time to read up on the new rotations between work and leveling.
No, thats not what I meant - I'm aware I'm sounding a bit harsh, but my issue here is: I dont know what you considered "rude" already and wether ot not "dreadful" was actually an accurate description of your dps. Ofc you dont have to be perfect or anything but during my time with this game I've met people on level 60, in level 60 dungeons not being aware of the very basicis of their classes - BLMs not knowing how to handle their fire/ice; bards not using their dots; melees not caring about their positionals; healers spamming one healing-spell; tanks not using their aggro-skills... the list goes on and often the excuse you hear is "I'm new" - and I dont know wether or not thats the case here.
I also dont know wether or not that tank simply told you in a not super-polite way that your dps wasnt great (and wether or not that was actually the case - because thats the problem here: as long as you were doing fine, he was even more in the wrong than just for parsing... but if your numbers actually are/were bad I can understand his frustration to a degree)

If you're actually doing fine (may I suggest a SSS-visit, so you can check for yourself? I know they're like EX-primal-stuff and you dont have to beat it, but how far you get should give you an idea on how well you're doing overall), my advice would be to shrug it off - very few people will actually say something after all...

I'll admit I'm really a bit torn here - on the hand we all should try to be polite and helpful as best as we can (and I'm sorry if I came of rude, I'll admit I wasnt to thrilled by your naming-shaming-thing, that brushed me off in a pretty negative way) but on the other hand I'm also of the believe that its everyones duty to look into their job and how to play it themself and not expect to be teached by random strangers in a highlevel dungeon.
If something like that happens again though, I'd suggest to reply with "well, tell me what to do better then"
