Or with Shirk, neither tank needs to lose DPS with their enmity combos OR being in tank stance. It's free enmity for days.Shrik seems not worth taking to me at all. I ran both ex primals so many times got full gear from both and never saw any tank use this ability. I use Rampart, Provoke, Convalescence, Reprisal, and Awareness. I have no issues with tank swaps what so ever and have been tanking since 1.0 on Paladin. You have your enmity combo ready for after you provoke and the other tank isn't going to take it off you. OT should be in dps stance at this point and he should never take the boss from you since in 4.0 they made it so tanks don't use their enmity combo as part of their dps rotatoin.

I've not tackled Lakshmi yet, but with Susano I've had no troubles tanking him in Sword Oath, and my healers haven't complained. It's a difference between 10k autos in sword and 8k autos in shield. With 46k hp that's only 1 auto difference before he kills me assuming I don't get healed at all for some reason. Rampart and Shelltron or Sentinel and Shelltron or even Hallowed Ground will get you through every Stormsplitter easily. The only time tanking in that fight can get sketchy is during the lightning stun segments where the whole party has to keep moving, and I usually try to save Rampart and Convalescence for that phase. Tanking phase three Susano in sword oath is easy.
He's actually far more dangerous in the first phase with untelegraphed Assails hitting you for 30k+, but I'm in shield for a large portion of that phase so it doesn't matter.

Not telegraphed but 100% predictable. He always uses one right before/during his second melee (so just CD on the pull), and all the other times he does it a few globals after the knockback/line mechanic in P1.
