Sounds like you have what someone referred to as Tankiety. http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...u-deal-with-it this thread may help you get some tips on how to deal with it. Good luck out there friend.
White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
Selfish people, selfish people everywhere..I've been doing this for my FC members actually. Maybe I should go around seeing if any DPS needs a quick queue in PF. That being said, I'm also not going to charge people for such a thing.
While we are at it I also charge for taxi flights around SB areas if anyone is interested.
This... doesn't make that much sense. Just because you queue with a dps or two it doesn't really fix anything. It has the exact same effect as if you'd just queued up solo. The only difference is that whoever you queue up with is getting to "cut" in line so to speak.
This doesnt bother at all. They pay you for convenience because they are too lazy to get there on the ground but they pay him out of necessity because its not feasible for a lone dps to get gear in a rational time for progression with these queues.
My partner and I been leveling as sch and war so we've been asking our fc or friends if they want to come with. /Salute. Espeically on the aether data center . some of the queues I've been told last a hour long

Oh I was just advertising.

Once again, people are paying way too much attention to what other people are doing. If you find charging for runs disgusting, then don't do it. That doesn't mean that people who DO charge are bad because paying for runs is a MUTUAL AGREEMENT. The players paying for the runs agreed to pay the price for the ques. The only way it becomes bad is if one or both parties decide not to live up to their end of the deal. Other than that, if a dps is willing to pay booku gil for instant ques, then blame them for perpetuating the "problem," not the tanks who are merely taking advantage of a profitable market.
Whenever I play on my DRK (61, just slow going) I always put up a PF with the roulette or dungeon I plan, fills up quite quickly if none of my FC is interested. I can't really see charging for anything but then again I wouldn't say no if someone came up to me and offered to pay me to run them, think what leaves the bad taste to me is those demanding huge sums, 150k for 1 run? Yeesh, if I was going to charge would be like 20k or so.
