    Welcome to the world of aoe'ing. Every aoe spell/skill has that issue. Can't even begin to count how often my group decided to kill just that mob I was aiming my Flare at, interrupting it, wasting my long cast time.
    Being able to execute it even if the target died would be nice, so I believe we need not only ask for adjusting one Sam skill, but aoe skills in general.

    well at least flare hits in a 360 degree area. probably has a bigger range too. But it would not be a bad implementation for all
