They cant do that, because there are still people around that might play without any expansion. So they have to keep 50 content beeing 50, that actual lvl 50 players are able to do it without having to rely on 60s or 70s
No thanks, I like being able to solo them and hunt while I'm still leveling.

For that then, I say level sync the hunts, like how FATES work. You want to attack the hunt? You have to level sync down. That keeps it relevant for those with only those expansions, as well as making it so level 70s can't just roflstomp them. That being said, it could make things trickier, we were a group of 7 or 8 of us on Louisoix tackling a level 70 hunt, and it took us a LONG time to down the thing. So that's something else we should keep in mind.

As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.

I think having to level sync would be the best solution.
There's a greatly renewed interest in hunts thanks to them giving out verity plus the seals being needed for mount speed, and would be nice if they were a little more then pinatas.
The main issue is that with each gear cap raising, hunt should have equivalent stat raise. Just look at how people die on actual A and S rank of Stormblood and the time it takes to kill them, if the stats were raised according the the latest gear it would make the hunt much more doable.
So 2.0 would have stats raised for i130 and 3.0 i270.
I think they're fine as is, at least for now.
This happens all the time when people get ilvl or level cap raised. Hunt hype will dye down soon enough and the slower, or not-hunting players will have their chance.

no thanks, take into consideration new players. Hunt appears in spots that are a part of leves, story quests, important side quests. When hunts get de populated newbies have a hard time avoiding them. And if a hunt is blocking, ppl rarely show up to help. I lost count the amount of times I helped my g/f with a hunt mob due to an A or S rank in the middle of her quest. Bump up their level it would make them harder to kill.
hunts were not designed for an entire server killing 1 mob. It was meant for a party to find and kill on the spot. The fact people do wait for the entire server is tbh kinda cool but not really normal.
