Hi guys my name is Jan
I have been a tank for years since 2.0 and never actually took any dps serious enough to the extreme of "understanding wtf I am doing"
Sorry I am not that good with English
As a first time person who want to play dps as a side role beside main tanking every expansion like always "I still do" I like a change of parse
So ultimately I settle down with samurai~~
Because I am a weeaboo~~~
So here my problem, what is the deal with the dps output? No matter how hard it tried I could never beat A12s stone sky sea as a level 62 samurai with i260 I always stuck at 1%
Granded if I was on full i270 with 270 weapon without doubt I could beat that dummy but that's not the point!
The point is me been a level 62 which allow me to abuse the level 62 trait which increase my Ken gauge from all weapon skill is a huge advantage
But however I am still unable to keep up with the dps requirement, keep dot up with kaiten and kaiten every 3 sen possible and every gekko and kasha possible and still not make the dps cut.... of coz I will always save enough for a 3 sen first before throwing it off to gekko and kasha but however it seem to be not enough
What am I missing here?
To be honest, you answered it yourself. I'm not sure on the logistics of samurais rotation but you aren't at i270 and even then, classes like samurai were tuned more for content at 70 than 60. This isn't even factoring in that there was a pretty much universal nerf to all classes dps at 60 (lost 400 dps as a drg, probably not as much but similar for other classes) so there isn't a need to worry. Just play the game and when you reach 70 where the current relevant content is, that's when you can focus on being able to have enough dps to clear.
