Sick and tired of the combat music

Come on!

You never get to enjoy the zone music in this game because of the same retarded sound track which starts playing the moment you aggro a mob or pass by a fate. Why on earth isn't this an option when turning off mount music is?

Seriously, the combat music is really detrimental to the immersion and enjoyment of new and old zones alike.

Until this is an option, I will just find the soundtrack on Youtube, turn off BGM (includes zone and combat music) just to not have to listen to the same crappy generic soundtrack popping up every 30 seconds.

Sick and tired of it. Do us all a favour and remove the combat music if you're not willing to code an option to turn it off.

The Fate music is getting on my nerve.
I suggest locking Fate music on non stop and loudly at the FFXIV teams office for a week or two (perhaps we get an option to turn it off then).

I want a darn switch to turn off since I paly this game!! I maded a thread about this like 4 years ago I think <.< Whats the point having nice map music if battle/fate music keeps interupt them...? Its also a reason Why I stopped the first SB map pretty quick! The Battle music is one of the worst one I ever have heared in a FF game =_=.... oh and: give us a switch or bar to turn off FATE/Quest Jingles... You guys brought this on Dragon Quest Heros 2. Why not our game too? lol

Ive turned off the bgm and the mount music almost 2 years ago. There were a couple arr dungeons that had very sleepy elevator music and it was too much for me lol.
I honestly don't miss all that extra noise.

There is a night time theme and a day time theme for all the new areas.


On topic I agree, the music ruins the beautiful soundtrack. Not that the song itself is bad but after hearing it that much and it constantly interrupting the background music....

I thought I was the only one who hated this. Glad to see I'm not alone. It's especially annoying in places like Yanxia that have really beautiful music. I just want the option to shut the stupid track off. I mean, when going through a zone for the first time, I want to hear the lovely new zone music. Not the same tired battle theme.

I mean I don't dislike the battle theme. But if I'm not interested in a fight and I'm just going to run past the mob it's very annoying that it kicks in every single time you're spotted and interrupts the beautiful zone music.
