DRG at 70

Anyways... DRG is fairly fun at 70, don't get me wrong, but it has such weak spot in terms of DPS. In susano extreme, when my raid dps (total dps) is high, I get punished really hard. Nastrond is up but since we push the boss to the sword phase, I can't use nastrond, it's fine when the dps is low for everyone, where I can do 2... In lakashmi, it's fine to deal with, however I feel that we should be avaible to get the nastrond with 1 jump less or simply buff our dragon sight, lets say less on timing, every 1 min or 30 seconds. Or make it 10 to partner and 15% for myself or 20%.

Sword phase for susano, hold your eyes and keep botd capped when you get to sword phase and your botd gets to 1 use botd, it will refresh to 15 and you should be able to Nastrond twice by using geirskogul earlier than disembowel.
For lakshmi you should be able to pull 2 LotD phases the second one just with 2 nastronds, 1 on lakshmi one on 1 add, maybe three if you are lucky and manage to get a hit in.

But I'm comparing myself 2 whoel different groups. where both tanks are above 2.3k and healers over 1.6k. While the second group has about the same dps on tanks (well slightly lower) and 200 healer dps, but overrall dps was lower, I did 3400 ish while brds at 3000 and blm around 2.8k. While in the first one everyone was over 3.4k. I just simply can't do nastrond before sword pops, since we push it so fast he goes into that phase a lot faster. But why should I hold my eyes? I mean isn't that already a dps loss.. I can jump before the boss dissapear, while I can do both jumps again during the sword phase again. DRg gets kinda punished for being in high dps groups.

Then you're doing it wrong, btw susano's sword phase is timed, he always leaves at around 1:32/33.

You have enough time to trigger Lotd at around 1:10 and use 2 nastrond, by using B4B right when its up you'd get one nastrond under B4B.
Of course, to achieve that you need to delay your second geirskogul by at least 35sc to trigger Lotd, then instead of getting 3 geirskogul during P1 you get 2 geirskoguls and 2 nastronds.

just hold ur botd with 4 eyes until the 1st sword drops

the fight is timed so can maintain botd 100% as long as u hit ur 4th/5th at least once after activating botd

You 100% sure its timed? Because 1 group had it at 82% while my static had it at 75%..... and it always dissappeared at 75%.

You answered your own question, if he can leave at 82 or 75% it means it isnt a % related timing.

Shit I just realized that. Even if I hold my eyes for swords, it's still uber shit, but then again doing 2 nastrond is better than nothing I guess. I just find 90 seconds far too long honestly.

Edit: Are you sure 100%? Since.. I could do 2 nastrond BEFORE the sword phase in a low dps group while in the high one I couldnt. It's where I probably need to hold it. I just find it strange...And since it say its timed, how come I can in a low dps grou? Some fights you can even push timed phases anyways.
