Easiest DPS/ best to play DPS on Ps4 Stormblood?

I am playing Ninja with controller and I still find it difficult even after reduction of abilities.

And it's only gonna offset it once I get the new stormblood abilities.

So what would be the easiest class stormblood in terms of rotation or suited for a controller

Black Mage seems pretty tame on the button side of things and maybe Monk?

    MNK for sure.

MCH is easy on controller for me, especially with reduced ogcds in SB but it's dps is depressing.

I've played bard and machinist mostly this expansion, and MCH seems to have fewer regular rotation buttons.

i play the game on pc but solely with a controller, and ive played every job at least up to 50. i dont think any are really much easier then the other as far as pressing buttons is concerned. some are definitely simpler but you dont want to feel limited to playing only simple jobs just because you play with a controller, because i certainly feel like i can play any job on my controller. so instead of saying a job that is easy for controller, ill just say how i set up my actions in general for controller since that would be more beneficial in my opinion.

in general i set up the first 3 main combo actions on the R2, X square triangle buttons. any movement based attack abilities like a ranged throw move or a dash type move i put in the L2 main buttons also. my d-pad on both triggers is usually saved for buffs since they are pressed slightly less often. the exception to that is if the main combo branches off quite a bit to be more then 3 hits such as monk or dark knight then i put the start of the combo on the X button (ps4) and the second chain of the combo continues on the R2 D-pad buttons any position you want.
sometimes that leaves alot of buffs or even other attack moves on the next hotbar (R1 + face buttons) (my first hotbar is always R1+triangle and second is always R1+circle) ill also try to set those up where the most used buttons will be on the R2 face buttons and any buffs that are less used are on the d-pad buttons.
similarly to the monk/darknight thing above, when it comes to jobs like blm or rdm, i try to keep spell elements grouped up just to have organization and so it all makes sense. like with blm i try to keep most of the fire spells on the R2 face buttons and most of the ice moves on the R2 d-pad buttons.

so in general i set up my buttons so that i feel like i myself am in a certain stance depending on which trigger im holding and its the same no matter which job im playing. so if i hold R2 i know im in full dps mode. if i ever need a buff its almost always on a d-pad. if i hold L2 im usually doing buffs or movement/ ground placement moves.

And the last thing i do to really help out my playing is alittle more advanced. Since not all the important spells or actions will be on the first hotbar and its inevitable that you will need to swap to the second, there will be times where long cool down but very useful spells or actions will be on the second hotbar and you wont be able to see when they are up and ready. So in the settings, i turn on a single vertical hotbar that i place on the left side of my cross hotbar that i use solely for visual purposes on a few skills that i need to monitor the CD for them at all times. Just place high priority skills on the vertical hotbar and no matter which cross hotbar your on, you can always see when those are ready. it also helps to hide unused hotbar slots for that vertical hotbar

hopefully all this helps with playing any job and just playing full controller in general

nearly ever cls need at least 2 hot bars (some are even more) on controller as well... it's not the cls itself which troubles you, more the shifting between bars I think... you can reduce spots by using macros too... which is np at all until you reach endgame/savage where ever milli sec counts... but for pve yeah macros can save spots for you as well.

If you're finding a class hard to play due to hotbar setup. Then I would suggest to look into Expanded Hotbar or Double Crossbar. Both allows ease of access to abilities and makes playing every class easy and more enjoyable.

BLM may be easy on mechanicless fights, but gets tricky when you have to move. From all casters, BLM is the hardest IMO

Purchase a keyboard and mouse if you aren't comfortable using the controller.

You shouldn't avoid playing the class you want because of the device you are using.

MCH is definitely not the best since it has procs and stuff; Try a job with rotations instead of procs, since it will be something mechanical instead of reactions.
