    Unexpected Error (17) Crash during cutscenes.

    I got this crash during the first cutscene after making my character and now I get it every time I try to go thru the scene in one of the MSQ quests.

    An unexpected error occurred. Exiting FFXIV (17)

    I've tried DX9 and DX11, fullscreen and windowed, clean install of video drivers. Turned off anything that has overlays. Restarted. No solution so far... of course I could SKIP the cutscene and keep moving, but I don't want to have to skip all the cutscenes...

    I have i7 4770K with a GTX1080 and 16gb DDR3. Any ideas?

    edit: I was in the middle of fully reinstalling when I posted this and it seems to have resolved the issue.
