Duty finder not working?. ( EU )

<.<.., still having issues...? When I was queing up for Story Mode King Mog ALONE as Tank to farm weapons(Aka Demi mog materia), 15hours ago: DF Started to act weird... It took them 5mins till they found a "party" even I was alone! o_O and took another 30secs till they noticed "Ohh.. every1 pressed 'confirm' button" lol. then I stopped doing instances. being afraid my char get trapped again >.>;

This is starting to get a bit tiresome, i can understand problems happen, i can understand they need fixing.

What i cannot understand is it happens they say they can confirm the issue has been resolved, it works for a day or so. Then it happens again, next day it is working and they say they can confirm the issue is resolved. This loop is repeated over and over again.

After what 3-4 times of them confirming the issue has been resolved, it is quiet clear the issue has not been resolved any of the times. I can understand that some things take time to fix, just don't like being told it has been when it hasn't.

Next time try being honest, how about something like "we have temporarily patched the issue and are working hard on resolving the root problem"

Maybe it's time to improve the duty servers for the Chaos datacenter. You added two new servers (Omega and Louisoix), but did you increase the capacity of the instanced content servers? We didn't get just new and returning players, but also an influx of players coming from other datacenters.

Here's my feedback:

Duty Finder is broken, there's nothing more to say.

With how heavily this game relies on players partaking in instanced activities, both solo and group, this is completely unacceptable. Had some apologetic people trying to shame players into believing the Raubahn debacle was their fault for congesting the server (i.e. wanting to play the damn game they paid for) and some telling us it was "Early Access" so it was okay for bad stuff to happen since it was just a glorified stress test.

Well Early Access came and went, I could barely get past Raubahn (took me 11 hours of trying in bursts every once in a while) which stained my perception of the expansion and now this. 2 days ago Duty Finder was down for hours as well during "prime time". I'm just standing here in the new Mor Dhonashire because there's nothing else to do, waiting for Duty Finder to get back up so I can play what I enjoy. Maybe next expansion figure a way to get players out and about in the world you've so carefully and beautifully crafted beyond just leveling, gathering and bothersome hunting.

This is no longer a game on the verge of failure with a Square Enix on the brink of bankruptcy so let's not pretend performance like this is okay or that we should feel pity. It's already a monthly subscription based game with microtransactions to boot which is pretty lucrative in this day and age, so come on guys... Show some quality. Your really dedicated players are getting frustrated by now, a lot now just flat out playing other games while waiting.

Anyway, this is just a really long-winded way of saying: "fix pls". I'd love to play your game but me and my friends just can't. And if it's only going to work every second day then we'll just find something else to do I guess.

Best expansion ever!
In 5.0 if you have more play time as a DPS than anything else the game should automatically put you in a login queue, while also bumping up DF queue times to a minimum of 3hrs.

How could we even protest? You already got this month sub and the expansion money. Even if everyone unsubbed you would still keep the money in your bag.

It's incredible that SE is still trying to be cheap with this game. It's all marketing marketing marketing. It's true that the bigger they are the more noise they make when they fall.

aye it works again and they postet up a recovery note, but i couldn't see any note in the official chat channels, possibly because i was in a half hour login queue after deciding that i can't play on my alt without dungeons anyway
