How on earth does an FC not manage to make at least 3 mil in one year? One character playing through HW MSQ alone should've given you 1/3 of that![]()

Move to zalera then?
For AGES we've been told after complaining about the house situation on Balmung to transfer to a low pop server and buy one there.
Within a week, there are no no free houses on Mateus after ages of the wards being nearly empty. I recognize names, they're all owned by transfers from Balmung who came over with their hundreds of millions. My FC can't have a house now, none of my friends who were saving for one can, because you were too lazy to bump up their own housing capacity but decided to give them ours instead.
Thanks for nothing.
Guess what? We're doing just that. Be careful what you wish for.

How do you not have the gil to buy a small house in a year? housing prices drop in time and I was able to make 55 mil alone in HW and I basically rarely craft and don't sell clears.
Don't worry, we have people complain for ages, that their server is pretty much dead, demanding free transfers or server merges. Now that we are done with that (Bonus initiative) we are going the "but now I can't purchase houses anymore on my previously dead, but now a bit more populated server" route. They will get over it, pretty sure in a week or two, there will be another big "important" problem lol.
You can make around 60k gil a day if you run all the roulettes as a tank. You can make 93k gil a week by simply doing your challenge log.
That's 513k gil a week by simply doing small tasks, I'm not adding extra gil you get from FATEs, stuff you can sell from ventures, materials you get from doing said duties or any extra gil you get when you do your FATEs challenge log.
In one month you alone can make 2mil gil by doing the easiest of the tasks. To make a free company you need at least 4 people, and that would be 8mil in one month simply by playing the game, not counting any extras or whatsoever.
You made, or you could have made, 24mil gil in one year by yourself and 96mil gil with only 4 people on your free company.
Don't blame your entitlement on Balmung or anyone that's from a different server. The reason to why they could buy a house on your server and you couldn't, regardless of how much free plots you had, is because they did what you didn't with that one year you had on your hands.
Once again evidence that FFXIV's housing is complete crap.
Maybe.
People already got housing and this seems to be a once in a blue moon chance to move.
Balmung will be locked for a long, LOOOONG time and I hope it stays that way.
RPers won't get in your way of your gaming. People from hence on though
will probably tell rpers to move to Mateus though since there's no way to get to Balmung.
Meanwhile, I log in to another 3.1k que, so another 3-4 hour wait to play.
The move doesn't seem like it did that much to be honest, barely a dent.
C'et la vie.

I propose that Ultros become the official ERP server. Why? Because if any of you have ever watched the anime "Shokugeki no Souma"... Ultros = Octopos = Squid = Tentacles = Food Pornography. It all makes sense... kinda. ^^;
Also just to clarify, I don't ERP, but there is surprisingly a lot of it on the Balmung server. Personally, it would be nice if they moved somewhere else or at least learn how to do it behind closed doors since some of the stuff that is said isn't really rated "T for Teens".
In any case... I don't know what you guys are talking about, but Balmung is an awesome server. I like to see you guys do an "Almost All Healer Dun Scaith" in less than an hour.
