The green marker is similar to Sephirot's split attack. It's not the tail. The tail lands in a red highlighted squares. Grey/whitish (hardest to see for me) is for Shinryu's claw? attack.Oh yeah don't get me wrong I really like the difficulty of this fight since it's still pretty fun and tense even if you know what to do, and I hope they keep future non-hardcore fights around this difficulty. I was really just mentioning how the bad attitude seems to indicate who is going to make the fight difficult to clear. I don't mind someone who has trouble with the fight but not if they are going to complain a lot and bring morale down.
I think you are right about this actually.
The green marker is for the Earth attack that is a MASSIVE cone, isn't it?
And I agree with the grey/white one that is on the middle platform for his claw attack. Easy to dodge when you're in close, a pain if you're a ranged DPS standing in the middle(still possible, but you need to be on your toes...which I'm not always).

Earth Breath (the huge cone) is an orange arrow over 2 peoples' heads simultaneously.
I'm pretty sure the green is the tail as was mentioned. I guess it's so you can bait it somewhere away from others and then the square will turn red once it's picked where it will hit.
Ah, okay. I haven't done that trial in a little while(got it on my Mentor rou a few weeks back, but people abandoned it before we even did a pull after I got in).Earth Breath (the huge cone) is an orange arrow over 2 peoples' heads simultaneously.
