The issue arose after completing Palace of the Dead. When I went to exit I received the following error, as well as every subsequent attempts to log into the character. I am able to log onto my other character on the same server just fine. I have waited out the duty timer for PotD and well as attempting to run the game in DX9 mode as well. So far nothing has fixed the issue.

This has been going around for some time and is do to ether of the following;

Needs to update drivers/ Direct X / Java / or other components,

Make sure system specs match what your system can handle. If you were able to play it in the past you may need to run bench mark to get an idea.

Use proper graphic card settings or ports. Example if HDMI and has display port on both card and monitor go for display port much faster.

Also, Tech support is very direct and understanding, I've yet to meet anyone rude, unless your not really tech savvy and your taking it out on them.

Make sure your running a 64 bit operating system. If your running it in 32 bit it's a minimum and may cause that. While 32bit under minimum requirements to run the program, 64 bit will have less issues.

Your information was at least a little more useful than "Restart the router". The issue seems to be related to loading the 'waiting room' after clearing PotD.

I've had no issues, outside of the congestion issues, since 4.0 launched. This was my first attempt going into PotD though. I was able to resolve the issue by logging in with an ancient laptop I had lying around. For whatever reason that laptop was able to log into the 'waiting room'. Once I moved the character from that zone back into Quarymill I was able to log back in again on my main PC.

I checked everything last night and everything is fully up to date as I tend to keep my PC update to date as possible. While it does seem to be something on my PC's end I'm not 100% sure what specifically would be causing it and will likely just have to avoid PotD for now. When I have some more free time I may try to isolate the issue since I have access to another PC that I can use to rescue myself in the event I get stuck again. When I do I'll try to update this post with what I find.

Can confirm i got the same error 3 time so far. 1 in kugane, 1 in the fridges and 1 in susano extreme.
