Yoshi-P Please Petition More Funding From Your Company

Dear Yoshi-P,

As fans of this game, most of us know that the money that we the players use to purchase items, game time, and other purchasable necessities - Goes to the funding of other games in the Final Fantasy Series with a small portion of it going towards necessities for the game we made the purchases in.

Since 2.0 to this point it is clearly an issue with the servers and their inability to sustain a massive influx of players all trying to do the same thing at once. Not only this but the fact that ALL the money we use towards purchases and investments into this game don't get utilized with a priority on this games stabilization.

I'm pretty sure the debacle with being unable to separate personal and FC housing was due to this limited funding and so you were left with the choice of combining despite we being told it would be separated.

There is so much than can be done and that NEEDS to be done in order for this game to be as healthy as it needs to be and I know you yourself wish for so many changes, to increase housing, and add things players want. So my request to you is to petition the CEO of your company for more funds to upgrade the servers as well as make other changes that you've promised over the years.

Please show your CEO in charge all these posts on the forums, show them the distress the players are having trying to play one of their biggest games ever. They need to realize that this game has a much larger player base than was first intended. I feel like they are unaware of the multinational support of this game and the frustration it has been causing to users outside Japan whenever a major patch and expansion drops on the world's door step.

So Yoshida, if you could PLEASE make your higher ups aware of every country involved in this game instead of just their homeland, I think it would help put more funding obtained back into the game the money was intentionally used on.

I hope something like this happens soon, the dev. team and their players shouldn't have to suffer because of the CEO's greed or ignorance.

How else do you expect them to pay for all that advertising and development of their horribly failed attempts at mobile games?

I think you're also asking too much of Yosuke Matsuda and Squeenix company as a whole. They smeared the stain of brown all over XIII's series, and made a poorly half-assed game such as FFXV. I'm pretty sure that's never gonna happen. They would rather make themselves available in FFXV for an event or Nier Automata as DLC for 20 bucks before they decided to give FFXIV more money. Oh wait-

Most definitely. I play that game religiously. But that DLC was not worth 20 bucks or $15. It was a waste of time for extra skins and dlc with the producers that nobody wanted or asked for. All of it is blamed on FFXV for that stupid reason.

While it may not be popular in the Western Countries, I'm sure it was better received in the Eastern Countries.

But back to the topic - its spendings on things like this that will only appeal to a certain play group rather than the world as a whole. More funding needs to be put back into the games with online and multiplayer interactions rather than sent to single player DLC.

I think XIV is probably more than fine in terms of funding between the subscription model and how ludicrous the cash shop is for them (which is something that shouldn't even exist in a subscription model, but this community enabled it). I think SE is probably pulling funding from XIV to throw at other SE projects, or the XIV team is really, really bad at managing money.

If XIV was fine in terms of funding we wouldn't be having these issues. Servers would have been updated to prevent server congestion among a whole slew of issues dealing with the servers themselves. A majority of the content that Yoshi-P has promised us in the past has ended up getting the boot due to most likely being a lack of funding and server space due to outdated servers.
