Sorry, but where did we know this?
First I personally heard about it was on Reddit, after they'd already launched it (and before SE themselves wrote a post about how it was now there but wasn't yet in the Data Centre graphics, but would be patched in shortly).
Was mention during one of the event/live letters/interviews pre-SB release.
I've checked live letters/interviews as best I can and have found no mention of Louisoix. If you can find an actual reference, it would be helpful to see thanks.
However, on the 14th June in the SE post about Omega's launch and the incentives, they only said about "The beginning of Early Access marks the opening of Omega, the new World on the Chaos data center (EUDC).". There's no mention of Louisoix or that any other server would be coming later. So naturally everyone thought there was only one new server.
Then on the 19th June they posted about Louisoix for the first time: "In light of this situation, we have designated additional Congested Worlds and added additional New Worlds to the Chaos data center". The way I read the statement though is that they only released Louisoix because Omega filled up so fast. I can't any earlier reference to any other new EU server (that wasn't Omega).
Personally I'm settled on Omega now and have no interest in moving, but I agree with others in that they should let people at least transfer from Omega to Louisoix given that no one knew Louisoix was going to be an option until after Omega was up and running and people had already transferred.
if all the other things arent an issue the DF has been broken for basically three days now so I am paying my sub to now basically sit in Kugane and do nothing remind me again why I should re sub my account for in a few days when this is what I have to look forward to? being stuck in Omega is not helping I would leave but I cant arguements can be made that this is my own fault but I am not psychic how was I supposed to know that moving here would be far worse than anything else?

Yes that is one of the things you should of thought of before transferring, is it going to be better what if it not or even worse.

Okay this is joke... I cant even run Palace of the Dead to level up a class or something I got kicked twice now and have ended up having to wait in que I don't care how much you prepare nothing can truly prepare you for this level of awful being unable to do the most basic of content... this isn't excusable it just isn't and its upsetting because I love finally fantasy but twice I have tried to do something and twice I have been booted for no justifiable reason and be made to wait 40 plus minutes explain to me why I should continue to pay my sub I should go play wow because at least for all the crap final fantasy players give it I tell you what at least its functional right now at least many other subscription games are right now.
I would have to agree with removing the 90 day lock out. It's a massive inconvenience to people who are trying to help by getting off of congested worlds. Me and a friend were going to move off Gilgamesh but are unsure about which server and don't want to get stranded on a terrible server if we move, 90 days is a long time to be on a dead server.
90 days is too excessive. I wanted a new start on Omega to find out that its congested. I'm disappointed. I'm not even going to pay my subscription until it gets removed. I even deleted the client until then. I do love you SE just the 90 days cooldown I don't love.
Have fun elsewhere then, not like SE didn't state on the announcement page about the free transfers that you would be unable to transfer again for 90 days. So need to stop making it out to be SE fault for the decision you made.
Few friends stuck on Omega, I think they don't make it completely clear that using a data center on another region can mess up your ping. They dangle the incentives, draw people in, and then they are stuck there for 90 days. I don't think the concept of regional data centers is readily understood by every player. By creating these significant incentives, of course you are going to draw a lot of people in. I think those that transferred from NA should be able to pay to return simply because the language behind the new world incentive is not clear in terms of defining what it means to move between regional data centers. Even making it a case by case scenario would be enough (origin world population, character data, etc.) to settle the issue. I can only imagine what it must be like to be stuck in a server you can't actually play too well in for three whole months.
