Sam is going to be getting all the buffs too. Doest give any but receives them all xD.

Lvl 70 sam skill ceiling is way higher than 3.x melee jobs skill ceiling in my opinion. And considering how most jobs have been dumbed down in sb, I wouldn't be surprised if sam turns out to be the most difficult job to master right now. To those saying it's easy, you clearly have no idea what you're talking about.

i think sss dps requirement tell actually more than what some jp players have done. Or thats how developers have planned dps going to be. Samurai have 3.8k dps requirement, but they have only slashing debuff that two other classes have as well without losing dps. Nin requirement is 3,6k same than monk, but i think monk should have little higher dps than ninja. Dragoon have 3.4k that is lowest melee dps but they have the most party dps utility. I think dragoon dps should be little higher because disembowel is only 5% now, but that is probably because ppl runned 100% physical team in latest tier. Red mage and summoner have 3.6k requirement. I think summoner works the best with blm because of effect of contagion. Red mage offer physical damage boost for whole party that is good for physical damage party. Blm dummy requirement is 3.8k dps that is almost same than samurai and they have zero raid dps utility.
Your party dps utility is compensated from your personal dps. If you want high personal dps, you have to play the class that offer nothing to your party.

Mnks dps gets increase with every physical damage dealer in the group, tanks included. But seeing how many other players going Sam, just because it promises the biggest dps, by far. A nerfed makes sense or questions buff for the other classes.
Sorry for the typos, damn auto-correction doing what it wants on its own.
"A Sam nerf makes sense or buff for the other classes"

The reasons only go so far though. Like Yotsuyu being a psycho *****. She has her reasons, but are they proportionate?
Ultimately, it's a matter of whether its raid contribution (personal and supportive combined) outdoes all others by too large a margin. Yes or no? That is all.
^ This, and the fact so many are abandoning the other classes, because Sam is just so much more OP.
The other classes have been nerfed too much, they should lower they're "contribution" and increase they're personal dps, or nerfed Sam.

Well so far in the parces I've seen up to my current level they aren't beating RDM so I'm guessing that whatever it is, probably isn't until level 70.
And I've seen primarily Rdm/Sam DPS crews. DRG has actually been stronger.
Yeaaa no. SAM walks all over RDM 314 lvl 70.
The SAM who think they aren't too strong right now sound exactly like NINs did in 2.4. There is in no possible way you can think it is okay to do 25% more damage than the lowest DPS in the game. That completely invalidates the class. Also let me explain that these numbers are SAMs damage in a vacuum. SOLO. Meaning this number only gets exasperated while in a party under the effects of trick attack, hypercharge, foes and the like. So no. They are indeed not okay. They have the most mobility and highest damage out of all the melee. Though they bring nothing but slashing buff to the party, that in no way makes up for the 400~600 they are over the other classes. Now going down to MCH. The difference is 1000. 1000. Why would you even use MCH now? Please tell me one logical reason why someone would bring a MCH when they are 1000 DPS below SAM? SAM is completely overtuned damage wise. It doesn't need a hefty nerf, but needs to be brought down 100~200. MCH needs to come up quite a bit. I know a lot of people are enjoying the power but if you played back in 2.4 like I said. This is the same situation we had with NIN when it first came out, and it got hit with the bat.
