Hit level 70? How do you feel your class will perform in End Game?

Been 70 for a few days now on BRD and personally speaking, I feel at End Game level the class could be more refined. With how the 4 big fights are in the game, Susano, Lakishm, Zenos, and Shin, the game looks to be going toward a more frantic AoE dodge fest, while BRD excels at this since we can dps and move again, having to dart your eyes from AoE indicators, party status, managing DoTs, song gauge, and skills, your eyes are all over the place.

Some skills feel more clunky then they should, Reflugent Arrow doesn't refresh Straight Shot, and Nature's Minne could be very great if it worked in the fashion Mantra did by granting the buff to all party members rather than one.

The role actions aren't really helpful either, as tactician and refresh used to be Ballad and Paeon, the removal of the damage reduction is great but having to put on 2 skills we previously had, takes away from other potential role actions, we need Invigorate, so that's your 3rd slot, leaving 2 slots for second wind, silence, heavy, stun, palisade, or throw on the new swiftsong. Depending what you pick here, stun is only useful in melee range, heavy might be a great choice, as is silence, but that would again be using a slot for a skill we already had, second wind can help in some personal situations, and palisade is ok even with the high cd, but the new swiftsong is entirely useless in battle.

So do I think BRD is going to perform amazingly at End Game? Ya, I can see BRD being widely needed, and a top damage class, but at an individual level? I think BRD has a bit of an adjustment curve that might sway some people towards classes that don't have to watch out for a varied amount of timers and situations.

But how about some other classes, how does your prefered class feel at End Game level?

    I have a few:

SCH - Terrible. The nerfs were devastating and the class feels disjointed with too much reliance on a pet that acts, at best, unreliably. Manipulating your pet is like playing on a permenant delay.

SMN - Weak. Compared to what disgusting numbers I have seen others put up, SMN just does not cut it DPS wise.

AST - Godlike. AST literally has a tool for almost every single situation and if you time CO and LD you have nearly infinite mana. Will likely be Noct AST/WHM in progression.

Drk was kind of a mess at 60 and felt like it was missing a lot of stuff. Now at 70 I absolutely love it, Bloodspiller is a very satisfying attack, but the real winner is our new defensive cooldown (The Blackest Night), it is absolutely fantastic and since it scales with HP, it's only going to get better as time goes on and people get more gear.

RDM- Beautiful mobility, insane burst, survivability [what doesn't kill you *nana* can only make you Vercure], raisssee, mana shift.

Its the craziest thing. RDM are like off off healers that really only heal two people. The healers! We don't care if anyone else dies. Insta raise anyways. I don't tend to heal a healer though unless they were just raised or boss is invuln. I do like to send over erases and mana shifts to help them help us. During ultimate animations like after killing the sword twice in Susano, you have time to precast vercure on yourself, instacast a healer, top someone off with another vercure and be ready with a dual cast for when boss comes back.

Did i mention corps and displacement are godly for just about every susano ex mechanic?

RDM makes prog easy. Anyone else think susano ex is the easiest ex weve seen or does having a third raisebot really just cheat the system? Lol

Just so you know, we (The healers) do notice this. You will be the last to die (sans tank) and the first to get balance. At least in any run I am in.
