Need server transfer help!

Hello! Sorry for posting twice in a day, but I really need help with this.

Short version. I don't like the login queues in balmung and I think I want to switch to one of the free servers. I have no idea which of these servers I should switch to. Which of the free servers you think is best to switch to and why?

*BONUS: Do you think I should choose a server other than the free ones? Which and why.

Not at the moment no. But I'd like the option to be able to roleplay.

Mateus is maybe what you're looking for. I scouted it out the other day and it's got some roleplayers (around a dozen at the quicksand during peak hours) and a sea of sprouts... But I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you, it could turn into a ghost town after a month.

They mean, that roleplay servers need a very big population to sustain themselves.
And at any given time people could leave mateus for another home.

Oh... So you guys think my best bet would be to stick with Balmung?

Hmm... Well, since I posted that, I've been doing more investigation and talking to people on Mateus, and I can say that it doesn't seem hopeless. There's no going back for people who transfer from Balmung, so that's one thing, but another thing is that all the new RP-blood will pile in Mateus since Balmung is walled off. If you're looking for a server like Balmung without the login queues, Mateus is still gonna be your best bet. It's even got a good number of roleplayers at peak hours! It's up to you if you want to take that risk of the RP community still being there in a few months, though. I can't say how set they are for stuff other than RP, since that's the only thing I've been investigating.

There are lists on various sites showing what the average population is for RPing, but its also not perfect in accuracy.

out of the 4 suggested worlds, its the highest RP population.

I still don't know... I feel like I should stick to balmung just in case, I just don't want to end up in a ghost world...
