    Twist of fate

    Hi.

I've been doing a lot of fates and I have not seen the twist of fate mob in the stormblood areas. Has anyone else?

if so, how long does the buff last?

I've seen it a few times. It looks like it last until the next fate you participate in. I don't see a timer on it, so don't know if there is criteria that will make it go away. When I get, I just try to jump into another fate asap.

The buff lasts until you complete the next fate. Leaving the zone you're in will also remove the buff.

Piggy-backing onto this a bit, has anyone else seen "The Forlorn" instead of "The Forlorn Maiden"? I saw it on the Dzotamer FATE in Azim over the weekend. It was a LOT harder to kill and some folks came by too late in the FATE and it failed since you have to keep the dzo that's being attacked alive. So I'm not sure what sort of buff this one gives that differs.

The Forlorn is much rarer than the Forlon Maiden in that it spawns as a boss, essentially. Completing it gives you a super-powered version of the Twist of Fate which makes the next non-expboosted fate give you 250% Exp
