    Ideas on changes/buffs to DRK.

    To start off, changes for tanks in general:
    Increase tenacity effectiveness per point by 0.75x.
    Give accessories with the Fending attributes a split amount of Strength and Vitality, if you insist on not making VIT the primary damage stat for tanks.
    Now, changes for DRK:
    Make Dark Arts boost Blood Price for 10% damage reduction, and/or Blood Weapon for 10% extra damage dealt.
    OR
    Give Dark Arts synergy with Shadow Wall. When Shadow Wall is used under the effects of Dark Arts, the damage resistance is boosted to 35%, the cooldown is lowered by 40s, and each attack you take inflicts a stacking DoT that starts at 30 and increases by 5 with each additional hit you take. Maybe give the DoT a lifesteal or MP syphon effect. Otherwise, damage resistance boost to 45% with the same CD as before to make up for the MP cost of DA.

    Continued:
    Halve the MP cost of Dark Passenger, or increase the damage while under the effects of Dark Arts. The fact that it consumes half of your MP for so little in return is ridiculous.
    Undo the nerf to Unleash, make changes to the enmity modifier as necessary.
    Grant a better visual for Living Dead. As it stands, it's not exactly easy for healers to notice when you use it.
    Give Sole Survivor another effect when used on bosses. If 4-8% of the boss' health is taken off in the period that it is up, the DRK gets a buff that increases their damage dealt by 10%.
    Additional effect for Quietus: If it hits 3 or more targets, all targets hit get a "Damage Down" debuff. Increase potency to 230.


    This is all I can think of for the time being. I'll update with more ideas, probably. This is my first time posting a thread in the forums so let me know what you think.

    Edit: I am not a raider, so I do not have a better understanding of whether or not these changes are too weak or too strong.

    If you edit your post you can bypass the 1000 post limit, i disagree with your dark arts changes mainly because i feel like dark arts shouldn't be something you do every combo the reason why i like HW DRK more is because DA was a special skill you couldn't spam or you lost access to half your bar making it feel really good when u used it correctly in an encounter.

    I agree with unleash but keep in mind the moment we get AB we rarely use it so it isn't that bad i wouldnt mind actually replacing unleash with scourge or something.
    Totally agree with sole survivor nuff said.
    I think quietus needs to be totally removed DRKS have plenty of aoe i dont think we need more aoe on a GCD even if it has a damage down debuff think the second blood dump needs to be changed entirely.

    But i like your attitude keep attuned to the dark my friend.

    Fair, but this is just going with what SE currently has set DRK up for. If the DA spam is here to stay, may as well let it have synergy with more abilities.

    This. I feel that too many people suggest changes with reversion to a previous state in mind when SE has given us almost no precedent for this. The best we can hope for is for them to add to the changes they've already made, not reverse them.
