    Bringing PvP Job Changes Into PvE

    I don't simply mean having the option to do the combo lines with one button. I mean individual actions that operate differently for your job in PvP. What are some skills you would want to operate the same in PvE as they currently do in PvP? I felt a lot of things flowed better for BLM in PvP such as Enochian turning into Fire IV and Blizzard IV all on one button based on astral/umbral stacks. Pick your favorites that could be suggested later on.

    Honestly, I'd rather have the all in one button combos just to save space only.

    They should provide the all in 1 combo you can put on your hotkey and leave the individual ones too. That way, people can have separate hotkeys while others can have 1 button for the combo. Win Win!

    And to add topping on the dessert, they already have it coded. They need to push it over to PvE.

    I see no reason why not if it's optional. Seems like it'd be really handy for the more limited button real estate controller users have, especially.

    I'm not sure how beneficial that would be (introducing PvP changes in PvE). One of the biggest reasons they have a separate PvP set of skills is to allow PvE and PvP to be balanced separately. This is critical IMO. PvP and PvE are very different games, with different objectives, and thus the reason for the 2 skillsets. I'm assuming that all the PvP changes are there specifically because it's a PvP environment. And if they start moving over the positive aspects, they would have to move over the negative aspects as well...and one of the biggest reasons I enjoy FFXIV is that they DON'T allow PvP to impact PvE like most other games do.

    I don't play PvP, and I don't want PvP impacting my PvE game. FFXIV is one of the few that does this, I'd like to keep it that way.

    No, I'd rather keep it all seperated.
    The combos being one skill slot is nice, but have you played a healer in PVP, we lose so many skills verses consolidation and the skills we do have a tuned just for PVP. It just simply wouldn't work.

    Wait. hold on. I want to understand. So SE went out of their way to split the system. Intentionally. To IMPROVE the system... and now that is IS... you want it....reverted? o...o-ok? I really want to be missing something here. This actually doesn't make sense. I'm genuinely asking for insight here.

    Until then, my response will be; The modes were split for a reason. Let's not ask for that reverted within a month of the changes. Please.

    Also, the 1 button combos were to alleviate the amount of actions and judgements you need to make in combat. this is a boon to PvP, and a detriment to PvE.
    How many complaints are/were there for the leveling experience being too slow? Why? because you only hit 1 button. You want that... constant to 70? just because the button changes doesnt mean you're actually hitting more buttons.

    On a separate note, I think that the OP isn't wanting PvP and PvE blended as much as he has found a skill (or effect) that just seems to work more smoothly in PvP. There's nothing wrong with adding suggestions to improve a class skill/ability at all. But with any change (especially ones that are PvP specific) we have to ask ourselves why the difference, and make sure that the new change would balance well in the PvE environment.

    As an example, in the skills notated in the OP, the reason they orchestrate so smooth and fast for BLM is that BLM is a turrent caster, and cast bars are a negative in PvP, so they may have made that PvP change to give BLM's more effectiveness in the PvP environment. This same change would make BLM far to potent in PvE, which is why they have the more convoluted setup in PvE. I don't play BLM, so this is all theoretical, but it's a good starting point to get you thinking about why it's different, and why those changes may not be the best for PvE. But if a skill change fits, and it's not unbalanced, there's no reason to no suggest it as an individual skill improvement suggestion?

    But let's shy away from suggesting that PvP should meld into PvE.
