Fishing Retainer can't venture for Lominsan Anchovy

Why?
I need them for fishmeal for my plants. I've caught them myself before so it's not that I don't have the log.
why is this missing from the possible fishing ventures?
I'm a little tired of wasting time fishing for them when I have a retainer who should be able to go get them.

I can get them randomly from quick ventures, but I really think this should be added.

Lominsan Anchovy can be bought from the Materials Supplier in any house or Holasfhis in Limsa.

My mistake, missed that you were talking about retainers.

appreciated, but I'm still unsure why I cannot send my retainer for a low level fish. It's not like it requires special circumstances to fish for.

The fishing retainers are extremely limited in what they can bring back, for some reason, and it's infuriating. BTN/MIN retainers can bring back everything you can gather (with the exception of high tier items that get added to the retainers at the end of the expansion). My fishing retainer can't bring back Coerthan Crabs. why?

-Fishing retainers should have access at the very least to every "craft" fishes and in a decent quantity (thinking the usual 30 that min/btn have) instead of the random and low quanttity they have now.
-Expert recipes and/or quests fishes should also be available ; maybe in smaller quantity (enough for 1 craft/quest at least) at some point
-Shards/crystals/clusters would be nice
-Fish tank fishes ? Not really usefull nor in demand ; but at least you get some if you want to change things
-Collection fish ? (x1 i guess) ; could use for some Rowena delivery/scripts probably
-Vegetarian : to sic them on random lalafels in the streets

Right now, i think the main use of a fishing retainer is 1 or 2 minion they add at the start of an expansion ; after that, i really don't know...

The problem is when you make fishing retainers usefull you make the Fisher class useless at the same time. There are just not enough fish needed for crafting.

In early HW I made good money with Blue Cloud Corals. Then they let retainers gather them and the price dropped over night from 5k to nothing.

I prefer are usefull Fisher class over a usefull retainer.

I agree, not being able to send my Fisher out to target specific animals is annoying. Letting them be able to gather a decent number of specific animals that are used for bog-standard, non-expert, crafting only would be nice. I'd even be fine with keeping them from getting HQ things to make Fisher a viable job to level.
