Hated the story in in ARR. Heavensward was better. Stormblood was awesome. Part of what made story great in Stormblood was the great dialogue and voice acting. Exceptional stand outs were Lord Hien and Gosetsu.

I liked it for the most part as well.
My biggest fusteration was zenos voice though. Sounded too prissy for what he was. I know I'm the minority on that, I just wish the voice was different. Didn't even need to be deeper, just... anyone else
Hien's voice acting was spot on. Hien in general as a character was just incredibly well done.
Hien-sama is lovely !
Screw Aymeric.
Azzim's Steppe was the best written part in this ENTIRE game for me.
Amazingly well done and it was fun to learn the people there.
I already give SB story a 10/10. HW was 6/10 and ARR was 0/10 for me.
So far SB has been the best expansion story/dungeon wise.
While I didn't like the story as much as Heavensward, I agree that the voice cast all did an amazing job.
Also can we talk about the final boss of the Level 67 dungeon's battle voice lines? (I won't say who due to spoilers but yeah!)
Holy CRAP those were really well done. They literally sent chills down my spine.
Alisaie's VA was on point.
Especially during her plea to the Ananta to see Lakshmi for what she really was
It was really good. Hien and Alisae were already mentioned but Lyse is definitely one of my favorites. I really think the characters this expansion were so well done. Heroes and Villains alike. I may have hated Yotsuyu and Fordola, but I sympathized with them.
I just finished with the Steppe, and I agree it was an interesting story. Hien seems like the kind of bro you'd want to go have drinks with.
