    I wanna die...........
I'm probably gonna be 70 omnicraft except for LW this week-end... what an horrible job

It's time to implement a new gathering job.
    "Hunter"
    nodes : mobs!
You go around, you click the mob and you have your gathering UI and you basically do your things on the mob. if successful, the mob dies and you get leather, wings, eggs and whatnot.

Regarding the retainer, I have to admit that I have trouble sending him once a day, I don't think I'll ever be able to send him once an hour
But ty for all the feedback and tips

Like others have said, retainers are great.

I seem to remember in 2.0 Pudding Flesh being required for a Alchemist class quest synth, and the only reasonable way to get it was killing puddings in a levequest.

LW is my last stumbling block and yeah, something does need to be added. Honestly, even if they just added something to clan centurio for leather workers and culinarians and if they want to get all square-enix'y about it, have a level 61 untradeable LW or Cul item that needs to get turned in to start it. (I only say this because SQE tends to take a fine system and then shifts it somehow to make it a chore)

Give repeatable hunt jobs (that aren't on the Leve system or any sort of cap), and once you clear out the chosen hunt job, when you return you get a choice for a bag of animal parts (meat, eggs, etc) or skins for the level range you choose. It's not perfect, but since there's no bodies to harvest like other game's leather working, it might be the best they could do.

I suspect that at least some of this is intended. It's slower to farm hides (and other mob dropped items) because every player will be getting some in the course of other content, including players with no interest in crafting/gathering, and those players' mob drops end up in the available pool through the MB. So SE is comparing rapid gathering by just a subset of players to slower gathering by a much larger pool of players when trying to balance availability.

(That said, I think there are a number of places they didn't get that balance quite right, and except for the very earliest levels, it's generally the Leatherworkers who suffer when they don't.)
