I wouldn't mind either...I don't mind about some challenging vistas (WITHOUT THE TIME NOR THE WEATHER STUFF). However, I don't want challenging vistas for "nothing" (besides the exp, and the log). I would like a reward for completing all, like they did with the Apkallu minion from the 2.0 vistas.
But I can already see all the people with no patience to climb or to complete the log complaining about being "denied" the possibility of getting these rewards...
Tried it today, got stuck on one spot for 20 minutes and just said "f" it. The way it is right now it's mostly luck that you landed on an invisible hitbox or not. Not fun, just frustrating.
Make it a quest and give me a buff that I can see the hitboxes and it might be something fun to do.

I wish they hadn't added jump puzzles back into the sightseeing log. I understand wanting to show off the city, but jump puzzles in this game drive me mad and are one of the reasons I've never completed 2.0's sightseeing log. I enjoyed doing Heavensward's log though.
I hate jump puzzles. Sorry.
But, once I did quests, I walked on rood. Remind me Assassin's creed XD

I'm all for more puzzles and fun challenges.
The 2.0 sightseeing log was still top tier. Heavensward ones were such a letdown!

I liked climbing that thing. It took me three separate sessions, and a total of around an hour and a half, before I made it. But, boy, did it feel good. I chilled with a few other people up there for a good hour. It was very rewarding for someone like me, who enjoys the side stuff.
Innocence doesn't mean an absence of wickedness, nor is it represented by the absence of anger or hatred. Innocence is when seeing others hurt also hurts you. When one becomes blind to the people suffering in the world, that is what it means to have lost one's innocence.
Is this the new Parradamo Tor, or what?

My FC mate and I just cleared it together, it took a bit of practice! But so satisfying!

Managed to get it after a couple of tries. I like that they're doing stuff like this but jumping in this game really isn't very good. The overabundance of invisible walls and invisible footholds also did it no favours. Hopefully they take more care with those things when designing the next ones. Jumping puzzles are one of my favorite things in GW2 but this was just a weak attempt comparatively. Like the FATE system.

I love this thing to bits and would love to see a lot more of these, they are so fun figureing out how to get to teh top
