Kugane Sightseeing Jump Puzzle

I really liked the jump puzzle in Kugane. I hope more get added in the future!



For those that need some help getting up top, I made a short video with some tips:

You can use ninja to make the last jump, just do Shukuchi and jump forward (not just jump up) at the exact same time with Shukuchi pressed first. Don't try to delay the jump forward. It might take a few tries. It's the same Idyllshire rock jump.

Good god, no. Not unless SE wants to adjust character controls so that you can actually control how far you jump...

This is not a good game for jump puzzles, sorry. I'm sure the guide will be helpful to some, but I hope it's the last jump puzzle I ever see in ffxiv.

Half the time you were standing on nothing and jumping onto nothing. I wouldn't classify that as a good puzzle. Jumping in this game is not well done.

Mechanically of course it isn't like some platformer, but it's nice in terms of something extra to do in the game to burn time. The vistas should be more challenging to get to, the original vistas on launch had some really hard ones to do due to weather conditions and location. The current vistas except for this one are all too easy.

Agreed on harder to reach vistas, would be a nice change of pace including them with some sort of jump puzzle instead of letting us just fly to them. However please don't bring back that weather stuff, it's just rng and no real challenge. Sitting on top of a vistas waiting for hours for daytime and weather being right isn't fun, it's figuring out how to get up that's fun.

There is another mini jump puzzle as part of a quest in the Ruby Sea. Took a few tries, but so satisfying to finally get it.
