    RDM Rotation

    Can anyone simplify the rotation for me. I'm a level 50 RDM and all these skills I'm confused. Usually you build up skills and you learn. There are so many I'm lost and also cross class or role which ones should I do.

    I am looking for a simple rotation starting from opener to end.

    Jolt -> Verero/verthunder

    If next spell procs you use it them Veraero/verthunder, if not you go back to Jolt

    Never use Veraero or verthunder outside dualcast.

    Once you get 80 of each mana, go for the melee combo.

    That's the lv 50 rotation.

    Entry: Jolt > Veraero/Verthunder(dualcasted) > Did Verfire Ready or Verstone Ready proc?

    If yes: proceed to Verfire/Verstone
    If no: Repeat Jolt

    Repeat process alternating between each usage of aero/thunder and fire/stone

    Use acceleration on cd.

    Opener with black and white mana 80+: corps-a-corps >Embolden > Enchanted Riposte > Enchanted Zwerchhau > Enchanted Redoublement > Displacement.

    Continue with core spells again

    Still confused really. I mean I understand some of what you are saying. Always cast dualcast then those? Kinda lost really on it and what to start with first then the middle then finish and then do I go back to starting it again like "1,2,3,3,3,3,4,5, then repeat same order"? Just crazy example but need it broke down some more. I wish there was a better way to learn besides all skills available at once mostly.

    The thing with red mage is that half the abilities are locked behind procs or you need to cast the white/black version based on mana. There's not really a set rotation; it's more a priority system.

    If you're struggling with all the skills at once, I'd recommend doing palace of the dead 1-50. That way you'll see each skill introduced in a linear manner to see where it fits.

    It's not so much a rotation as a priority system. What you cast next depends on whether or not you get a proc, whether or not you have dualcast and how full your mana gauge is.

    Basically with dualcast, every other spell is instant. Veraero and Verthunder both have long cast times, so you don't want to cast them on their own. You first cast Jolt in order to activate dualcast and then cast Veraero or Verthunder.

    Once cast, Veraero/Verthunder can proc (activate) Verfire or Verstone. If you do get one of these procs, then you proceed back to cast Verfire or Verstone. If you do not get a proc, then you go back to step 1 (Jolt) and start again.

    Next, after casting Verfire or Verstone, dual cast will be active again. Instead of casting Jolt, you can go directly back to Veraero or Verthunder to make use of the dualcast.

    So basically you need to prioritize your abilities on what is needed and available next.

    If you keep trying to think of it as a set rotation with a series of perfect button presses, you aren't going to make it work. You need to understand what each ability does and what it needs to work properly. You need to be capable of adapting regularly.

    Basically you have a normal cast and an instant cast.

    The instant cast will generally always be Verthunder or Veraero depending on which balance gauge is lower.

    The normal cast to trigger the instant cast will be Jolt, but if your last Verthunder or Veraero triggered and let you use Verfire or Verstone you'll use Verfire and Verstone instead of Jolt to set up an instant cast of Verthunder or Veraero.

    When both of your balance gauges are over 80 sword combo time.

    About as simple as I can make it. The second spell will always be your dualcast.

    Basic:
    Jolt -> Veraero/thunder (cycle between these to balance your mana)

    if a ready buff procs:
    Verstone/fire -> Verthunder/Aero (better to go White-> Black or Black -> White to balance manas)

    if a ready buff doesnt proc:
    Impact -> Veraero/thunder (only applies once you're 66+)

    Once at 80/80 mana:
    Enchanted Riposte -> Enchanted Zwerchhau -> Enchanted Redoublement -> Verflare(if white>black)/Verholy (if black>white)

    Corps a corpse and displacement are meant to engage and disengage for melee combos but you might want to stay around melee range anyways and just use them when off cooldown

    There's no real rotation for RDM. It's all about using your procs and checking your mana.
    if you really want a cycle to not get lost because you have too much freedom on what to use, RDM isn't for you.

    This. And then there's raiders saying they'll only accept RDMs. Don't listen to those people and stick with what you love.
