Instanced Areas INSANELY Frustrating

Overall, I'm loving the expansion so far, but the instanced areas are so frustrating it's making some experiences unbearable. For example:

• If I'm in a party and I enter an area, it should put me in the same instance as my party members
  If I teleport somewhere, it should let me select the instance during the teleport
  If there are less than x number of players in an area, why even have 3 instances?

I recently died during a FATE and tried to get back, only to find that I teleported to the wrong instance. By the time I got to a loading zone to re-enter the correct instance (after scrolling through a wall of text to figure out which one I was originally in), the FATE had already ended.

There are a LOT of issues I've been having with instances, and it's really my only complaint about the expansion so far. It's really awful.
