    Auto Tracking caused by Actions cancels Flamethrower (Possibly SAM Meditate as well)

    I was wondering lately why I kept getting my Flamethrower cancelled in Dungeons and did some testing.
    I figured out that ever since they changed AAs back in HW, they added this "Auto-Tracking" on the target you're casting or using an Action on. Now the thing is that even if you untarget the mob and then do Flamethrower, it still kinda "snaps" onto the first mob hit.
    So basically, you'd do flamethrower and everything's fine, but suddenly your target moves. Now what happens is that Flamethrower doesn't allow you to turn, which means the "auto-tracking" on your target cancels it. Now I haven't done testing on the Samurai Ability "Meditate" but I think it's the case for that one too, as I accidently got it cancelled once while doing it in PotD.
    I'd assume this isn't quite working as intended, as it's almost impossible to get it to work reliably in the situations you want it to work, and I hope this might be seen by the devs.

    i've noticed that too with healing and mouse hovering ppl, my char would move without being told, it's here since 3.0.

    I lump Flamethrower and Meditation into the same category as AST's Collective Unconsciousness. A move that cancels your auto attack and plants you in place to perform said action. If you move or perform another skill/spell/ability, it will also cancel it prematurely. However, Flamethrower and Meditation did not exist prior to 4.0. Collective Unconsciousness did.

    On the job notes for AST, it says the following change was made to CU: Rotating your character will now also cancel the effects of this action.

    You used to be able to rotate while it was on. Now you cannot.

    I'm assuming the same applies to Flamethrower and Meditation. When they say "no moving" - they mean it.

    However, auto-tracking should also auto-disable upon use if that is the case. Or allow rotation again.

    i also managed to understand why on nin after a goad i've got myself killed (and now as sam too with goad) on dies mechanics (susano for example), where you have to not move while the dice is still poping up...
