    THM needs more mp management. A simple siphon mp would do wonders on a 60s cd. Any type of prolonged fight is incredibly boring and tedious on THM. I don't care if you tone down nukes but the art of standing around doing nothing waiting for mp to restore is too old school thinking for me. Not to mention that standing around while fighting ifrit can be a little difficult at times.

    Can thm recover 1600 mp in the same time as a DD can get 3000 tp?

    All Dd have the ability to use invigorate for 1k tp Regen and auto attack between combos. I posted ways to get mp back during combo's but it still requires you doing nothing.

    Edit: the mp cost are not the problem by them selves just used in combo's which why a slight mp reduction would not seem OP to me.

    Also to note what bey said the stun never kicks in on Thunder and blizzard spells need to be fix cause the ra version does not work,

    the tricks it takes to regain MP is by standing still and using our 1 non situational MP regen option. the other MP regen option isnt even guaranteed to give MP back because it itself costs MP to use and Ethers are too trivial to consider.

    Yes S.rite needs to be looked @ if your not getting hit for 600+ dmg its not worth using.

    I can confirm Thundara Stun and Blizzara Bind work. Thundara's stun doesn't proc often, but when used in combo you gain the benefit of a much shorter recast time on it which is sweet. Blizzara on the other hand, the Bind procced for me I think every time. I'm trying to remember an instance where it didn't Bind. Can't.

    As for the MP costs, they are justified. THM is not meant to be nuking constantly. The idea is when needed, you can burst down an enemy, but for extended fights it's much more about timing. I've top parsed versus every DoW DD in NM fights since the patch, including Archers, by managing my MP, allowing myself ample time to recover MP between nukes, and working around Parsimony.

    Anyone can just stand there and spam nukes on cooldown until their MP drains, then wait until it refills, and rinse/repeat. The skill comes in effective timing and efficient use.

    In case you guys didn't notice, the new class action designs promote skillful play to maximize efficiency - not spam.

    I for one agree with THM staying the way it is now. I look forward to BLM with Convert.

    yay someone who plays mage right. I was kinda off caught off guard when I did Ifrit after patch and pulled hate from the tank lol >.>

    No one here is asking to spam spells just want reduced mp cost during combo's, I can manage mp well in any fight where i don't have to move around. In the moogle fight once you get to second phase of the fight im just standing there waiting for mp/dying. hell they don't even have to reduce the mp cost during combo's just let use Blissful mind.

    If they reduce MP costs, or allow us more means to regain MP back they will reduce the damage the nukes do to balance it out. Essentially we will be hitting more buttons to do the same DPS. Spamming.

    When I wanna manage cooldowns and spam skills I go on ARC. THM has it's own flavor.

    Now, I'm saying the above assuming you all understand that you cannot reduce MP costs, even as part of combos, and expect the same damage output as now. You all understand that, right?

    Yea, that's why I want the Sorcerer's Robe to go with my -enmity belt. Funny thing is I'm not even a mage main. Just took a liking to THM after patch. If I have to teach a mage player how to play THM you better be sure I'll be laughing my ass off in secret.
