No video but I am pretty sure they were done on SSS, and again, don't quote me on this because I haven't tried in a long time but I am reasonably sure you can't take a party member in there with you, solo only.Is there a video to see how it was done? Dragon sight is an easy fix if you just take the parse while in a party.
They may have all been partied to normalize the party buff too.
But if they didn't do that, then yea those factors would be relevant to use dummy dps as an upper limit for these Jobs.
RDM requires you to constantly watch your mana gauge and to watch for procs.Im honestly surprised RDM would have tunnel visioning problems, since most of it can be done in your head, w/o looking at the UI, and since your double cast triggers the GCD, and you then have a GCD cast right aftyer, u get a rather large window to look at your UI, and surroundings, to double check your mental notes match up with ur actual stats/UI.
(This is pretty mucht he sole reason I like RDM over all other DPS atm, though i havnt played them all)
You can summon your chocobo and dragon sight him ^^Interesting how this gets 12 pages and only one person mentions DRG can't use dragon sight on a dummy parse, and everybody ignores him. Dragon sight is 10% for 20 seconds and can be used twice on this length of parse, that is not an insignificant amount of damage they are missing just because one of their skills cannot be used solo. Considering it would be used in the opener as well, where most damage buffs are stacked multiplicative, for a ton more damage I would feel okay adding a lot to their parse.
Let me make it clear that that parse is most likely with Dragon sight since you can Dragon sight the chocobo. Dragoon is just that weak. I agree with your mnk statement though and this sentiment has be echoed everywhere so it's not a secret.Interesting how this gets 12 pages and only one person mentions DRG can't use dragon sight on a dummy parse, and everybody ignores him.
