I don't think this was posted here, so i'm making a thread on your guys opinions, this was posted on reddit.
Samurai pulls ahead but understanding it doesn't give nothing to the raid anyway, I'm surprised ninja is able to keep up with monk.

When you see someones glamour with non matching boots
So the SMN and BLM are tied. That 4 difference doesn't mean much.
Man....they need to rebalance pretty badly. SMN & RDM should not be that high up. And MCH...poor MCH.
Edit:
Since people keep responding to this, I''ll answer it here. The reason SMN shouldn't be this high is because they not only have a rez, but AOE that embarrasses every class and a 5% buff damage buff to a party member. Compare it to BLM. BLM has.....manashift? BLM gets screwed by SMN. Who would play the slow casting, stand still to do "insane" deeps BLM when you can be a SMN and lose 5 dps but gain utility and movement. The same can be said about RDM. A rez, a cure, and a 10%* party wide Phys up buff that buffs self and once again movement. BLM is basically obselete again.
Imo RDM only needs a small nerf, maybe 50 off, while SMN needs at least 100. And while I am at it, DRG could use 100 or so. And Ninja still has 10% TA & aggro control, which destroys MNKs 5% buff, so it shouldn't be that high either, maybe 100 off.
And I only complain for MCH because its ranged counterpart seems to bring BETTER utility and quite a bit higher ST dps, so it's more blatantly obselete.

BRD is a support role, yes, but MCH is near pure DPS. The only buffs they bring are the same ones BRD has as role actions, but none of the other awesome buffs BRD offers.
I disagree with this comment.
MCH is still a support role. They still provide TP/MP regen, Damage buff, and a very powerful debuff (dismantle).
I will agree that MCH falls behind a bard in terms of support due to bard songs. But this certainly doesnt make a MCH pure DPS. I also think they need a DPS boost, but for some reason, MCH have been really hard for SE to balance. They either suck, or are godly. This usually happens to %based classes. Like monks they tried to impliment a +%boost to their abilities. Which means MCH will scale better as gear progresses. But we shall see.
Not sure where you're getting this from...
Compare the role actions of MCH and BRD:

http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/jobguide/bard/
They're identical.
Dismantle lowers a target's damage done by 10% for a whopping 5 seconds. As for a damage buff, I'm not sure what you mean. Hotshot only increases the damage done by the MCH, not the damage taken by the target.
So yeah, the only thing MCH has over BRD is dismantle, as far as I can tell.

LOL and when I posted a thread about MCH feeling bad I got flamed for it because I hadn't hit 70 yet. It wasn't hard to see the writing on the wall. They took away all of our oGCD's we combined with wildfire and then gave us a heat mechanic in exchange. The good news is we'll probably get buffs so maybe better to be weak for a time than to wallow in mediocrity.
I am always expecting melee to pull way ahead of casters for some reason. What happened here...sigh...
