As a Corporal, I sought to take on the quest "You do not have the Rite".

Fulke: I am afraid the duty I have to give is for those who have earned the Emerald Leaf. I can award you yours for a contribution of company seals. Speak to me again when that time comes.

This is not so much an issue of grammar/spelling as it is understanding what is being said.

Fulke tells us we need to earn an Emerald Leaf. He says he can give us one for a contribution of seals... and leaves it there, or doesn't as the case may be (pun intended).

Seperately to this, we are told in small talk that the next promotion costs 2,500 seals.

There is no connection established between the Emerald Leaf and the next promotion. Further more, Fulke is implying that we need the Leaf in order to even start the applicable quest, which is not entirely the case, nor does he tell us how many seals the leaf will cost. This has strong potential to leave players at a loss as to what they do next.

I suggest re-wording the script to make the connection clearer.
