Can we get a spoiler tag on the OPs post please? I've tried so hard to avoid spoilers and that just got ruined.

I know that you shouldn't have to avoid spoilers on forums and shame on OP- but sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands and realize that someone out there will be trashy and ruin it for you.

I recommend avoiding sites where FF14 is the primary focus until you're done the story!

That's not really the point, I'm not clicking on any lore posts, and I thought this post was entirely about Susano. The fact is that this post is entirely about Susano and the spoiler was simply a casual name drop.

I don't mind people talking about spoiler topics, but this post was deceptive.

Except that's the entire point. Going onto the game's main forum, to General Discussion (the epicenter of all forum activity), and then expecting to not get spoiled in any random given thread... it's like going on YouTube, watching a guide to some section of the new content and then posting a comment complaining that you've been spoiled. It's inevitable that it would happen, it's just basic common sense.

Not to mention that this thread's title is nothing to go on. This mechanic has existed since A11, and there's plenty of MSQ content that shows they have no intention of stopping it.

All I did was ask the OP to spoiler tag and make it clear that this thread is discussing lore spoilers as well as mechnics. I got spoiled, I'm not bitching about it, but I'm asking for this to be respected so that what happened to me doesn't happen to anyone else. Can we not make this about my actions?

As many others have said already, for susano, you can tell someone else to do it -assuming pressing a few buttons relatively quick is too hard for them- and you can avoid it altogether. As for Shinryu...this is a joke right? I mean, i use the A & D spam along with the mouse click and the bar fills up in 0.8 sec. And i dont even tryhard it. Like, in the same pace i use those buttons to freaking move around.... You can literaly place the palm of your hand over the keyboard and press down all the keys to make it even easier... I find this mechanic interesting and a nice addition to keep you alert during transitions but kinda easier than i would have liked it to be.

I love them honestly. I hope they make it more skill intensive too maybe a fast succession of random keyboard keys.

Not liking the QTE's and other button mashing thingies. That's where you go when you have no good ideas for gameplay design. But if those are what this playerbase wants, so be it. I'll just go play the other MMO's I've been playing on the side then.

For a time there is litteraly a mechanic you can succeed in simply rolling your head on your keyboard, there are still people to complain.
Seriously I even tried to do it with my feet and still succeeded...
