What happened to adding flight to tank mounts & Sleipnir?

Seem to recall devs mentioning this would be a thing, but so far they remain grounded.

New tank mounts with armor will fly iirc. (Complete 300 dungeons lvl 61 and above), extreme trials (61+), level 50/60 duty roulette dungeons or duty roulette leveling duties as a warrior. Each roulette only counts with daily award bonus.) [For Battle Bear]

Same probably applies for DRK and PLD mounts.

Sleipnir makes more sense than any other former ground mount, but still hasn't been added. Not only does Sleipnir fly in other FF games, but in mythology it's essentially the source of stories of ghost riders and flying reindeer.

Also it is the only mount on the mogstation that doesn't fly.

What? I'm pretty sure the moogle mount is more expensive than Slepnir... Slepnir is about £12 and the mog mount about £17-18, I'm pretty sure at least.

you are right... wow.. can't believe I paid $30 USD for that ugly moogle mount just so I can stare at it's butt hole while it flies.
i only got the account wide mounts.
