Connection to server lost during loading screen after selecting character

I removed the information which is not applicable to my issue.

Time: 19:30 CET and ongoing
Frequency: every attempt
World name: Odin
Character name: Tatsu's Pride
Issue:
I was doing quests in one of the new zones. At some point I decided to teleport to Quarrymill to do some PotD.
The loading screen took unusually long and after about 2 mins of loading the connection with the server was lost (10104).
I figured this could be related to the connectivity issues which have been ongoing all day.

So I logged back in, was back at the new zone I was previously leveling in (forgot the name, it was the one with the endless tower to heaven). I tried to teleport to Quarrymill once again and faced the same issue.

However during the next login attempt, I didn't get back to the new zone but was kicked during the loading screen (again after 2 mins). I never made it in to Quarrymill and I'm now in limbo.
I reconnected twice more with the same result each time.

Same Issue, Same Server.

DW you are not the only one, and there are more zones that seem to be locking people out.
