I Survived Stormblood Early Access Minion

To lighten the mood a little I wanted to throw this out there as a suggestion. I know people are complaining about wanting pro-rated game time discounts/refunds or whatever, personally I think that's a little steep but what about a special pet?

At the Fanfests there are usually contests to net you an "I survived..." shirt. Would it be possible to maybe throw an "I survived early access" minion our way?

I'm terrible with creative ideas for this kind of thing so give me your suggestions! It would need to be something special to Stormblood. My first thought was a Wind-up Lyse minion but I know there are probably plans in the works for her at later date. I'm thinking maybe a creature that we only see in the SB areas.

Maybe even do a community poll for what players would like to see?

I mean, techincally we did get a pre-order-bonus minion: The red-mage. While I'm not totally oppossed to the general idea I think it should rather be something thats tied to having an active subscription during the last week - please remember that not only SB-people suffered here! And with that the whole pre-order-problem would be gone aswell...

(Unlikely to happen either way though, I'm afraid >.< so maybe you can take comfort in having your red-mage-pet?)

While the idea of a minion is great, I honestly think it wouldn't make up for all the loss time in being able to level up. Why not something that people can use to boost experience gained from quests/missions?

I think that's asking too much. Yes, there was massive inconvenience, but a special little pet would be them acknowledging our frustration and apologizing with a little "giving back to the community" vibe to it. XP jumps and stuff are overboard imo.

What I was proposing is no different than the 5 scrolls you can get from your Barracks runs you have your NPCs do, it'd just be something like EXP boost that you would use like 5% or 10%. I've been on other MMORPGs which have done this to appease to the fact there was mistakes on their side.
