    Well about what I expected. Devs (or whomever calls the shots) love to get pissed over their great new designs being utter shit. So they'll ignore the elephant in the room while tossing out bandaid fixes in hopes it will placate players.

    As said, buffs are good I'll take them. Core issues are still there and in all honestly I don't expect those to be changed. They'll sit on the eye problem the entire xpac and in 2-3 years come back around and say "woops players didn't like this so we'll fix it now." It's pretty typical of mmorpg design.

    How in the world did they ever land on Blood of the Dragon needing a cooldown reduction? It's practically impossible to drop it now unless you mess up your combo. And with Geirskogul on a silly long cooldown, it's impact for aoe damage is minimal. While I do like Elusive Jump coming into play more, it's rendered a bit... underwhelming since you aren't ever going to hold Spineshatter Dive for the jump back. Now if that were reduced to 30s ala Shoulder Tackle, it would be a nice gap combo.

    Dragon Sight - Make it an aura that buffs the Dragoon regardless of whether someone is nearby, but will tether the closest player within a certain range, giving them a buff as well. Hell, make it stronger if a second person is in range as well.

    Blood of the Dragon / Life of the Dragon - Their timers should not count down out of combat. Building full stacks of eyes only to see BOTD fall off between pulls is infinitely frustrating.

    Sonic Thrust is boring.

    Give us something like Skewer, a powerful single target hit on a cooldown, that adds a bleed. Make Nastrond give us up to three Skewer stacks that we can spend during Life of the Dragon to make Skewer hit harder or its DOT to have higher potency.

    Let Dragonfire Dive open the dragon's eye. Don't make us sit on this for group pulls. Let Dragoons decide when to best use this ability.

    They made it so when we pop BotD we start with 20 sec rather than 15 sec. This means when we are forced to wait for our BotD to fall to 1 sec and re-use it for more time in hopes a long ass mechanic will end before we lose our eyes we will have 5 more sec.

    Did they say anything about BotD cooldown?

    It's the duration (currently 15s) that's mentioned. That probably includes when coming out of LotD--I think by now many of us have experienced that urgency when you exit LotD knowing you are nowhere near FC+WT; you can conceivably be 9~10s of uptime + 5~6s downtime away from losing it all. I'm thinking the intent is to let you keep eyes more easily through downtime by popping it when the timer is getting low, particularly between trash pulls.

    Elusive Jump going to 60s then 30s may be acknowledgement that we have lost SSD as a hold-worthy gap-closer, but the one-way nature makes it not quite a substitute. I get that you can pair one of those with Sprint but that's the same Sprint we could already pair the CD with and that everyone else is theoretically using. This is the kind of movement ability where other games might (read: do) have stacking charges.

    I play with a controller.. and I'm going to say keeping dragon sight on someone is MEGA annoying. I'm usually NOT using it just because it throws off my timing and usually results in me losing Blood of the Dragon.

    And Dear Hydaelyn, LET US KEEP THE EYE CHARGES!. I see no reason I should get stressed out between pulls and yell at others to hurry up simply cause I don't want to lose it. Almost every other class keeps their charges of whatever: special bullets and heat, blackblood.. why is DRG singled out?

    Someone's suggestion to change Dragon Sight to just give 4 eyes immediately is the best suggestion I've seen to fix most of dragoons issues at once, if bob was returned to its previous value. This would let us control our opener, to sync it around party buffs, etc and get back into our burst phase off of phase changes, even double up LotD for more dps on uninterrupted phases
