    Mmmm... I don't know about the validity of that statement. Final Coil, maybe. But I'm not going to agree with anyone saying that Heavy Thrust, and Impulse Drive problems were better than this. All opinion, but I think not being able to even begin your rotation is worse than having difficulties with it.

    Oh, hey. I'm not suggesting that it wasn't frustrating, and that the 2.45 fixes weren't a massive QoL improvement - I'm just suggesting that the current iteration is far MORE frustrating, in entirely different ways but for far less relative reward. As you say though, personal opinion.

    No LotD changes means any fight with long phase changes will still be extremely annoying when it comes to building Eyes.

    Potency buffs are nice, so are the QoL changes, but they don't change the things that bother me about the class since 4.0 which is, finding ways to not make all your efforts building Eyes wasted.

    Susano Ex, when you're in a party that pushes phases, and maybe Deltascape v4.0 are the fights I'm looking at right now, though DRG will be a bit nicer in dungeons now.

    Time to level that SAM, or a NIN?

    The optimist in me says that the initial 20s will help keep it up (as the cooldown is 30s), as it makes it slightly less vulnerable to mechanics if starting early.

    Maybe it should just be made a trait and you get time for hitting combo 4 and 5, and making eyes permanent. Then the whole idea is you build the bar from nothing to get a decent time when you activate Nastrond (which is also kind of underwhelming).

    That would be an improvement, at least. Though, what then would be the point of one's 56 and 58 abilities prior to level 70? Just making it so eyes don't disappear when losing Blood of the Dragon would bring Dragoon up to most jobs' quality of life.

    If we could just get the cooldown on Geirskogul reduced to 30 seconds and Chaos Thrust's periodic potency increased from 35 to 40 (total from 620 to 670), the job probably would probably perform acceptably. I'd rather have that and a weaker improvement to Lance Mastery, honestly, if only to increase multi-DoTing capabilities and allow us to use a tri-combo with a single +2 in order not to clip HT/CT, and to have greater flexibility in Life Surge timing and positionals.

    Im haopy with the buffs. Hopefully tjey will bring dragoon up again. However, these changes dont fix the problem of dragoon at all.

    LoTD takes ages to get into and doesnt feel rewarding when we finally do get into it.

    LoTD is the dragoon's core problem, yet they didnt fix anything about it.

    Buffs are buffs and I hope this will bring DRG up a little. 140 extra potency every combo isnt nothing.

    I couldnt help but to look at the date to check if its april fools today.

    I agree on your points, but should point out that Lance mastery only affects the 5th combo WS, not the 4th. So it's not as big a buff as you might think.

    In one way it got better. However if you'll want to use Dragon's Sight on a controller you'll need a macro for it I think.

    And yeah this buff isn't nearly enough to make DRG up to par with the other DPS I think. But we'll have to wait & see I guess.

    It's good, you have to use the second hotbar though for sure. In HW i had several macros for space, SB only the one for dragon sight targeting.
