you should have 100% uptime on BotD/LotD regardless of those mechanics, they've made me miss 1 nastrond at mostSusanoo in particular have churning, levinbolts, levinbolts+stun, sea splitter and if you get stuck on one of those rocks it's very likely to cause you to drop eye stacks depending on how much time you have left on botd/how long it takes for people to break you free.
That 6k opener says everything I need to know. Coupled with the fact that they had max tier 6 materia which makes a huge difference in substats (of about 250) means that not only are they at the absolute max gear they could be while I'm pretty sure 90% of people aren't doing so and yet still having 300-500 dps difference kinda goes to show that DRG still is worse off.
Kudos to them at least, they kinda proved me wrong .
and yes 4300 dps on susano i remembered it wrong as that number is from end of first phase and now i did few more runs in there and ended up with 3400-3500 dps all the time. SAM was 300-700 ahead of me

That sounds waaaay more accurate. I have died once or twice in susanoo and still pulled 3100. So that sounds about right.
Even then I consistently do more than that on Susano barring rocks (which I now know target 4th in agro) since I still was i308 with the i310 weapon (I haven't parsed on drg since I've gotten my weapon).
The samurai being 300-700 ahead of you is exactly the point we have been trying to make. That is absolute nonsense that DRG is so far behind even with the offensive utility we provide, the fact that our core mechanic is so punishing shows that something isn't adding up here. High risk low reward is just stupid (unless you are a masochist).


there's nothing wrong in our lvl 70 rotation... having that fifth combo makes up for lost phle and mirage dive for leg sweep.
but for old content they could bring down lance mastery and mirage dive lvl
and why do you use mirage dive instantly after jump/ssd? you could easily just wait to use 1 more GCD and use mirage dive after that without creating any clipping...
They buffed all our weapon skills significantly to make up for loss of Leg Sweep and Phlebotomize. Seriously, Full Thrust went from 360 to 440. That's huge.
yes the dps it self have mostly been moved to main rotation side but what i meant is instead of just simply removing phle to make rotation shorter they gave us 5th part for our combo and also you'll be using mirage dive instead of leg sweep

4100 before sword phase is what you do with i305 and 310 wpn.
