highest GC quest offers no seals for reward /fail

I submitted a bug report on this assuming its a mistake. but thought id try to generate some community feedback on the issue.


So i got fully promoted right, and im thinking its ok i spent all my seal on becoming a corporal because i still have that quest to get a nice chunk. WRONG. The quest that unlocks after being promoted offers no seals(or anything else except some xp). Great job SE thanks for nothing, literally nothing.

So at this point the white knights should leave comment like "hey, wait till 2.0"lol, that's my favorite one, and everyone else should give some feedback on whether or not you were as disappointed as i was.

maybe they'll ninja some seal in today, doubt it.

But I can't think of any GC quest I've taken up until this point that HASN'T awarded seals. Even the sidequests that require you to go into the beastmen strongholds award some.

it has no items or anything which is why i think they just forgot. im not doing it till i find out if its being fixed. The first quest of a corporal and it has no reward, thats pretty lame.

I don't understand why it should have seal reward as it is a promotion quest. You pay seals to get promoted, why would you get rewarded the seals you just spent to get promoted.

Basically this. You just paid 2,500 seals for the quest then you think you will get Seals back? Free itamz much? Then they wouldn't have asked for seals in the first place. And the quest is not useless, it opens the the First Petty Officer rank which give you access to Sergeant Gears (yea yea useless whatever) and new GC leve r30/40 where you /poke mobs for crystals then proceed to find the targets. This type of leve can be completed under 5 mins for 90-130 seals.

It's where the lvl 40 GC leve are, same NPC. Once you rank up to Sergeant 3rd class you have around 50% chance to get this kind of leves, just pick low stars if you want fast completion (which also give bonus seals), the lowest you get is 90 seals. It involves you killing the 4 mobs that are like imps who disguise as other mobs, either just kill everything inside or /poke the normal mobs until you find one with luminous crystal, kill it and use crystals to identify the required mobs. Leve ends when you kill the 4 targets, if you're doing 1-2 stars you can finish it under 5 mins.

so are you saying GC quest shouldn't reward seals after you are promoted, why would they raise the seal cap.

Back before Quests actually gave exp I had completed them all. After that update I was not reimbursed with the exp I would have gotten from quests. Now you all know how I felt! lol :P Who knows, it could be a possible mistake made by SE.

thats why im not doing the quest yet, im not complaining cause i didn't get seals. Im just not gonna do it til 1.21, when more quest come out hoping they fix it.
