    Gemcrafting for FFXIV (yes please)

    Seems gemcrafting is touched on; wondering as to the possibility of adding it as an actual craft to the game--unless it's overlap is a little too close to goldsmithing.

    I think it would open up some major possibilities esp considering the use of crystals and other similar catalysts etc. Just a thought.

    You touched on it yourself, but... Isn't that basically Goldsmith? How would Gemcrafting differ?

    Goldsmith already incorporates all of your Gemcutter desires, and then some.
