Thoughts on the melding in Stormblood

I know we just have to wait for the release and lvl70 for that kind of thing, but I'm just curious on what you are going to do for healing melding.

Since now, we won't have to worry about accuracy anymore (thank you Square!), we'll have more choices !

I was wondering if determination will not be back as a good stat since it provide more healing and damage at the same time (and the fact that we are loosing dots, that were increased by spell speed).

I also had thoughts on direct hit. It's a pure dps stat, but i imagine it could be a possibily to max the damages done.

As a scholar, i think i'll definitly go for a crit/det meld and stat priority and maybe leave spell speed to whm (if it still increased HoTs)

What's your idea?

I am honestly at a loss on what to meld for on my AST, of course in Heavensward it was Hit so it wasn't hard choice there. But I am not sure if Spell speed would be a good choice or not (I run with a SCH).

Determination has been increase, but I could not say if it's now more valuable than spell speed now.
I won't meld Spell speed however on scholar since we only have 3 dots now and the majority of damages will come from Broil II.

We might need more piety than in HW though.
But I think I'll try for Crit/Det to begin with and see in the future how all stat are scaling and which one is the more valuable.
