Seems like a lot of LSs are trying legit wins, but if they fail at that then they just use the exploit; if you had tuned into some of the live streams on the first night you'd have noticed the majority doing that. We've gotten the opportunity to do it several times but just wiped instead, that exploit is just too ridiculously easy to abuse and it feels gross, I really hope SE notices this quickly and puts in a hot fix.

Either way, MUCH more respect for not killing it till the 4th day after release but doing it legit, than being a scrub and exploiting for LOL SEVER/WORLD FIRST GUYS. You guys keep trying, there's a wall you hit when trying getting more than 2-3 adds down after astral flow, but you'll eventually surpass that and get the win, and it'll feel great ;3

Are there that many people not killing it legit? We haven't even considered any other way. Granted we haven't killed it yet, but that's not the point to me. Guess you'll tell the people who did it legit to everyone else, cos the legit wins will have videos on their site whilst everyone else will just have derpderp moogle win lulz as their headline

My LS did our first run tonight, thought the fight was a blast. Consistently beating phase 1 and astral flow with ease, struggling a bit after and only getting a couple of Moogles down, we're still trying to finalise a kill order. All in though I think the fights been excellent fun. Hands up who calls moogle AF hellfire after so long of spamming ifrit? lol

yes lots of linkshells have cheesed it due to the re-raise exploit. it's pretty fucking sad. If this were WoW or any other established MMO with kill tracking, it would be completely discounted for those people.

But whatevs. People will kill something how they wanna kill it regardless of anything because SE just doesn't put enough time and effort into making sure things aren't exploitable.

Absolutely pathetic that this fight is all we get, but it's much more fun then Ifrit simply because of what is happening. I can't fcking believe Yoshida would pull such a time sink on us like he did. I get it, they don't have valuable content for us, but why piss us off in the long run....or should I say long walk? HAR-HAR

Shouldn't SE be trying to regain our trust? This isn't working at all.

They hate everyone. The key item farm is ridic. Think we've gotten 4 Mog kills today because of it. Always someone outside the party that needs help or someone in the LS that just came back and needs help.

Yeah, the main problem with the 5 NMs is it really exiles players just getting into the Moogle fight. With how asinine and irritating the prereq is, no one will want to do it more than absolutely necessary to continue. Hell, even though it's not by a huge margin, I get irritated if I don't have Swiftsong on me at all times while walking like an idiot across the area. The devs keep making decisions that cause me to seriously question if they have a QA team, because I cannot look at this in any other way but the incredibly cynical viewpoint that the quest was constructed like this strictly to waste time, and annoy the players into not doing it all day.

Weapons are meh for the work that is needed to put into them. Im still 0/quadrillian on ifrit drops anyway so i will keep smackin him around til i get some

You know what would make the weapons more worth that effort?

Spells cost 50% less, and spells are 20% more effective.

I would gladly hunt those 5NMs for a chance at that. Magic Acc and Magic Crit? Vintage Cudgel +1 I could make better than that.
