....Really? WHM has Lucid Dreaming, along with all the other healers and Thin Air. AST has Lucid Dreaming and Light Speed that reduces MP cost. Only one for each job and then Lucid Dreaming from Role Actions. I suppose you could make an argument that AST also have access to Ewer but if you're desperate enough to pop Ewer over making an attempt to draw Balance or Arrow, something has probably gone wrong.
They killed the summoner job. Like really we can't heal our pets really SC REALLY!! what does that solve? And what's with making aoe's weak to make high level dungeons longer? We speed run because y'all want us to grind grind grind and even grind some more, but now you want it to take longer???? (SN not everyone are game freaks and want to spend thousands of hours a week on a game.) We all know your favorite job class is black mage but why nerf summoner mains in the back. I'm actually thinking about changing classes because the job is so weak now. THANKS SC FOR KILLING A ONCE MIGHTY JOB BUT NOW EXTINCT.
Where are you getting 3-4 skills? Aetherflow regens 10% MP, the same as Asize
AST has Ewer and Lucid Dreaming for MP regen. Lightspeed which reduces MP cost
WHM has Asize and Lucid Dreaming for MP regen. They have a trait for no MP cure and Thin Air.
SCH has Aetherflow, Energy Drain, and Lucid Dreaming
All joking aside:
AST (2) - Ewer (Conditional as it must be pulled), Lucid Dreaming (Can extend either with Celestial Opposition)
WHM (3) - Assize, Lucid Dreaming, Thin Air (I count this because during it you can regen mana as well as spam Cure II to get lillies before popping Assize)
SCH (2-4) - Lucid Dreaming, Energy Drain (x1-x3)
The issue for SCH is using ED means you don't have a lustrate available and due to low potency on spells that is a hard one to give up but usually you can get at least one ED off per Aetherflow in an 8 man.
Sch had their mp costs increased and the mp return of Aetherflow nerfed.
Every healer has lucid dream.
Whm can reduce assize's cooldown by 20% and has a skill that reduces all spells mana cost to 0.
Astro can also reduce the cost of spells by 25% with light speed, extend the duration of lucid dream or use an ewer.
May not be worse off for general MP usage, but it's really annoying to switch off of craft / gather class to SMN, hit Aetherflow, hit Swiftcast, and then have to wait for MP ticks before being able to summon. Just, WHY.
